When The Rubber Hits The Road
WHEN THE RUBBER HITS THE ROAD
Everyone believes the Scriptures about God’s provision and protection… at least in theory. We can quote verses, share posts, and nod along during sermons, convinced that God’s promises are true. We speak of His faithfulness, His care, and His guidance as if they are abstract truths—easy to agree with when life is calm, predictable, and comfortable.
But when the rubber hits the road, when trials come unexpectedly, when loss, pain, or danger arrives at our doorstep, faith is tested in ways we never anticipated. It’s one thing to believe in God’s promises from a distance; it’s another to trust Him when circumstances scream doubt, when the world feels unstable, and when the answers we hoped for are slow to come. That is when belief becomes real, raw, and personal—and it is in that testing that the depth of our trust in Him is revealed.
