Christ IS Your Life
Christ IS Your Life
“When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.”
— Colossians 3:4
He Didn’t Come to Be Added He Came to Take Over
Christ doesn’t want a place in your life, He wants the whole thing.
He didn’t say, “Add Me to your plans.”
He said:
“If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
— Luke 9:23
To follow Him is to die to self.
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”
— Galatians 2:20
He’s not looking for part-time followers or balanced believers.
He’s calling for total surrender — to lay down your life and live for His mission.
When He called the disciples, they didn’t negotiate.
They left their nets, their boats, their tables — and followed.
“Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.”
— Mark 1:18
“He said to another, ‘Follow Me.’ But he replied, ‘Lord, let me first go and bury my father.’Jesus said, ‘Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.’”
— Luke 9:59–60
The old identity dies at the call of Christ.Career, ambition, reputation, all of it is surrendered. You no longer live for what you want but Who He is.
Jesus said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
— John 14:6
He didn’t come to improve your life; He came to be your life.
Your purpose is no longer about building your name but spreading His.
“For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
— Philippians 1:21
When Christ becomes your life, your goals change.
You no longer live to achieve, you live to obey.
You don’t chase dreams; you carry the Gospel.
You leave the old life behind to take the good news to the world.
He said:
“Whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.”
— Luke 14:33
That’s not a suggestion, it’s the definition of discipleship.
To follow Christ is to let go of everything else.
He becomes your breath, your reason, your entire existence.
“You are not your own, for you were bought with a price.”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19–20
Your life is no longer about what you gain but what you give for His glory.
You’ve left the world behind.
You live for one purpose- to make Him known.
You no longer belong to yourself; you belong to Him.
“When Christ, who is your life, appears, you will also appear with Him in glory.”
— Colossians 3:4
That is your life now.
Not a part of it.
All of it.
