Groyper- Marxism: How Karl Marx's Ideology Is Luring the Young Conservative Generation on Israel

The young conservative generation especially Gen Z and younger Millennials in the America First camps, is being quietly pulled away from traditional pro-Israel stances and toward positions that echo Karl Marx's worldview on the issue.

Marx viewed Zionism and the establishment of Israel not as a legitimate national liberation but as a form of bourgeois nationalism and settler colonialism serving imperialist interests. He saw Jewish statehood in Palestine as an extension of capitalist exploitation and Western domination, with the "oppressed" (Palestinians) pitted against the "oppressor" (Zionist project backed by global capital).

This oppressor-oppressed binary is the same dialectical framework Marx used for class struggle.

Today, that exact framing is seeping into right-wing youth spaces, not through overt Marxism, but through populist, anti-establishment channels that borrow the same logic:

Israel is recast as the colonial oppressor, backed by "globalist" elites, neocons, and foreign lobbies that drain American blood and treasure.

Palestinians become the sympathetic underdog, the "real victims" of endless foreign intervention, mirroring how Marx portrayed the proletariat crushed by the bourgeoisie.

Support for Israel is branded "Israel First" treason, a betrayal of American sovereignty and borders, echoing Marxist suspicion of any nationalism that serves capitalist or imperial ends.

Influencers like Candace Owens, Nick Fuentes, and parts of the Groypers amplify this narrative daily. They frame unconditional Israel support as another neocon scam, endless wars, foreign aid, dual loyalties, using language that sounds nationalist but rests on the same power dynamic critique Marx pioneered.

Social media algorithms push edgy anti-Zionist content to disillusioned young men who already hate "the establishment," making the Marxist lens feel like common-sense rebellion rather than leftism.

The result is a growing cohort of young conservatives who reject Zionism (seen as boomer heresy) and embrace isolationism laced with anti-Israel sentiment.

They don't call it Marxism they call it "America First", but the ideological DNA is the same:

history as eternal struggle between exploiters and exploited, with Israel slotted into the exploiter role.

Marx's ghost doesn't need red flags or hammer-and-sickle memes to win converts. His framework of domination and liberation has proven flexible enough to infiltrate even the anti-left right, turning young conservatives against the the United States greatest ally.

This is how his ideology keeps ruling, one disillusioned youth at a time.
