The Absurd Heresy of the TULIP theory of Calvinism

The Absurd Heresy of the TULIP theory of Calvinism

1. T=The Doctrine of Total Inability

Calvinism teaches that a sinner cannot hear, understand, believe, repent, or obey the gospel unless God first regenerates him.
This turns Scripture on its head. The Bible consistently places the responsibility for faith and repentance on the sinner (Acts 17:30; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16).
Calvinism says God must save you so that you can believe. Scripture says you must believe so that God can save you.
It is not merely false, it is absurd.

2. U=Unconditional Election (God Chooses Individuals for Heaven or Hell Before Birth)

Calvinism asserts that God arbitrarily selects certain individuals to be saved and passes over everyone else, having predestined them to eternal damnation.
This turns God into the author of evil and the architect of damnation.
Scripture says God desires all to be saved (1 Tim 2:4), Christ died for all (Heb 2:9), and the gospel is for every creature (Mark 16:15).
Calvinism says He desires only the salvation of the few.
That is not biblical predestination; it is philosophical fatalism clothed in theology.

3. L=Limited Atonement (Christ Did Not Die for the World)

This doctrine states that Jesus died only for the elect and not for the world.
But Scripture says He is the Savior of the whole world (1 John 2:2), He tasted death for every man (Heb 2:9), and He gave Himself as a ransom for all (1 Tim 2:6).
Calvinism teaches a Christ who did not shed blood for most of humanity.
That is not the gospel.
It is a denial of the heart of the cross.

4. I=Irresistible Grace (Man Has No Choice in Salvation)

Calvinism claims that when God decides to save someone, that person has no choice but to believe.
The will is overpowered, the heart is seized, and faith is produced by force.
But Scripture is filled with people resisting God (Acts 7:51), grieving God (Eph 4:30), and choosing rebellion (Matt 23:37).
Jesus did not force belief; He invited, He pleaded, He warned.
Calvinism reduces humans to robots and turns salvation into a coercive act rather than a covenant of love.

5. P=Perseverance of the Saints (Once Saved, Always Saved—Even in Sin)

Calvinism teaches that the elect cannot fall from grace, even if they fall into sin, unbelief, or outright rebellion.
Scripture explicitly warns believers that they can fall (Gal 5:4), shipwreck their faith (1 Tim 1:19), depart from the living God (Heb 3:12), and be cut off (Rom 11:22).
Calvinism promises salvation without faithfulness, reward without obedience, and eternal life without continued discipleship.
This doctrine has created generations of false assurance and spiritual apathy.
