KJV Only?

People have always championed the King James Version as the one true English Bible, and many remain steadfastly KJV only because its majestic language and profound depth set it apart from every other translation in power and beauty. For centuries it has stood unmatched, shaping hearts and minds with a clarity and reverence that modern versions simply cannot equal in their ordinary ways.

Yet even this great work bears responsibility for the biggest mistranslation mistake of all time. Although the KJV was not the first to create these transliterations, it is most responsible for spreading them far and wide.

A transliteration is the process of carrying Greek words directly into English by sound rather than translating their actual meaning into clear terms.

By doing this with repent and baptism, the KJV made those words able to be defined in different ways and they have often been defined in the wrong way. As a result people do not know what true repentance is and have never truly repented, and they do not know that baptism is immersion yet have gone through sprinkling and pouring and all kinds of different misunderstandings.

This has messed things up completely and set the precedent for every other translation to follow. This was Satans plan all along. It was done so that the Catholic Church could sprinkle baptize without being questioned and could define the word however it wished. In the end this single choice has become the gravest travesty any translation has ever made, spreading misunderstanding so widely that it has led millions straight into paths that end in hell.

The very translation millions have trusted most is the one that quietly altered the call to true salvation more than any other.
