MODERN DAY CROSS BURNING
MODERN DAY CROSS BURNING
Cross burnings were a hallmark of the Ku Klux Klan, which was closely tied to the Democratic Party from its founding in the Reconstruction era all the way through the mid-20th century.
The Klan acted as an enforcer of Democrat power in the South—terrorizing Black Americans, Republicans, and anyone who resisted their racial and political order.
Burning a cross was meant to send a message: “We control you through fear.”
While the exact methods have evolved, the spirit of intimidation is the same. Democrats once used literal cross burnings; today they use different tools, but with the same goal—silencing and punishing opposition. Examples:
Media Smears – vilifying conservatives, Christians, and parents who oppose their agenda.
Government Power – weaponizing the IRS, DOJ, and FBI to investigate political opponents.
Cancel Culture – destroying reputations, jobs, and platforms of people who speak biblical or conservative truth.
Street Mobs – riots, vandalism, and threats against those who resist progressive ideology.
They may not carry torches onto lawns anymore, but the cross-burning spirit of intimidation remains.
Instead of flames on your property, it’s digital mobs, lawsuits, censorship, and public shaming.
The point is the same: silence dissent, create fear, and maintain control.
The Democratic Party has always thrived on division and intimidation:
In the 1800s it was slavery, lynchings, and cross burnings.
In the 1900s it was segregation, Jim Crow laws, and Klan power.
In the 2000s and today it’s censorship, indoctrination, and cancel culture.
The methods change, but the heart doesn’t: intimidation, control, and destruction of those who resist.
