WHY DO CHRISTIAN PARENTS LOSE THEIR CHILDREN TO THE WORLD?
WHY DO CHRISTIAN PARENTS LOSE THEIR CHILDREN TO THE WORLD?
Parents: You Can't Serve Two Masters for Your Children.
Many parents let their children try to be in Christ AND in the world, and then wonder why they lose them to the world.
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money."
Matthew 6:24
• You can't raise a child for God on Sunday and for the world on Monday.
• You can't cheer for their "freedom" while ignoring their spiritual foundation.
• You can't be surprised when the world wins what you helped build.
"If we let them chase the world, don't be shocked when the world keeps them."
2. What Does This Look Like in Parenting?
Mixed Messages, We say "Trust God" but celebrate everything the world applauds.
Compromise as a "Choice", We call compromise freedom, but it's captivity in disguise.
Entertainment Over Discipleship, We give them screens and sports, but not Scripture and prayer.
Approval Over Conviction, We fear their disappointment more than God's.
Delayed Surrender, We teach them to wait until "later" to follow Jesus, later becomes never.
3. The Heart of a Holy Parent
Parents, our job isn't to make our kids happy in the world, our job is to hand them over to Jesus.
• Pray for their hearts daily.
• Disciple them intentionally.
• Set boundaries that protect their souls.
• Model a life sold out to Christ.
"The world promises pleasure. Christ promises purpose. Choose what you want your child to find."
4. The Good Fight of a Godly Parent
Fighting for your child's soul is worth every prayer, every boundary, every hard conversation.
Don't be surprised if the world wins the battle you refused to fight.
